In the early 1930's Keds introduced the Booster, one of the first non-leather casual shoes to hit the market. Originally called the "Yeoman", this hopsack canvas shoe with a vulcanized crepe upper provided a unique blend of lightweight comfort and versatility.

The Booster quickly became a men's wardrobe staple, adorning the feet of celebrities and distinguished royalty alike.
